WASHINGTON, March 22, 2017 – InquisIT LLC, a fast-growing technology company “disrupting the norm” in its approach to supporting federal government customers, announced today it has won a $17.1 million contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide IT management support to its Animal Plant Health Inspection Service. As part of the five-year, firm fixed-price contract, InquisIT will be responsible for a wide range of IT services in the areas of software, hardware, cybersecurity, systems and support. This contract will enable the department to benefit from InquisIT’s extensive technology expertise to more effectively respond to the rapidly growing IT demands of its customers.
APHIS is the sector of the Department of Agriculture that promotes U.S. agricultural health by protecting America’s plant and animal resources from the introduction, reemergence and spread of animal and plant pests and diseases that could pose threats to our food supply and our nation’s economy. Through the APHIS IT Support contract, InquisIT will focus on tasks specific to video, network security, telecommunications, VOIP and telephony, virtual and on-site end-user support, cybersecurity engineering, and system administration.
